This might sound different to some people when you read about this new online “trend” going on, but I have been actively logging into “Pet Social Networks” These sites are like MySpace, but for people that have pets and people that love animals to connect with each other in an online society.
There are so many Social Networking Sites for pet lovers out there, I signed up for a few of them within the past few months so show off my pets…three dogs and two ferrets that are like my own children.
I must say, that ZooToo was a more satisfying online experience for me for several reasons:
-Points: You earn points for various participation on certain areas of the site.
-Pet Wars: You can post photos of your pets and people vote on “Which Animal Is Cuter?” Of course when it comes to animals, they are all cute, but within a few days of me signing on and posting my pets photos…one of my dogs, Oso and my ferret’s Smoke and Rowdy had won at least one pet war each.

-Journal: I love writing anyways! So I cannot wait to write a journal from my pets perspectives. With my style of writing, I think it will turn out very adorable.
-Small Animals Included: The pet list to post profiles did not stop after dogs and cats, I added my ferret and you can even add everything from fish to reptiles. The only pet I had that I could not find on the list were hermit crabs, so I think I might write a suggestion to the web designers.
-Free Pet Samples: You can sign up to receive samples for your pets when they are available. Last I logged on that had dog treats and some other random stuff. You also get points for writing a review.
-Affiliated with Animal Shelters and Rescue Groups In Your Area: You can pick animal shelters and rescue groups in your area to be affiliated with, which helps out all those poor animals still looking for a loving family to belong to.

On This Day...
I think I’ll go and start a new social networking site for my pet peeves.
