Be like a duck. Calm on the surface, but always paddling like the dickens underneath. -Michael Caine
I’m at that point in my life right now where I try very hard to act my age. I’m 25 with a boyfriend of 4 years and he has a 6 year old daughter that I have practically adopted at this point. I did however grow up a very spoiled, emotionally attached child and was fortunate enough to have parents that drove me to where I wanted to go…especially concerts.
I went to the American Idol concert last night in Columbus, Ohio on July 20. This would be my first time venturing out to a concert, or for that matter, venturing out to do anything by myself. The only reason I make a big deal about this is because I have a future case of social anxiety disorder that no one has probably diagnosed yet. Either that or I’m a loser.
I know I haven’t written much lately. I’ve been so stressed and what not, that it kind of kills the creative thinking process (if I even have one) for writing. Well, I’m still in a rut with bills but I did scrounge up enough to take a mini vacation that I am extremely excited about, despite the financial situation.
